Students are in a unique position to listen and gain understanding that can help make positive social change. Screening Not About Me in classrooms presents an engaging opportunity for educators and students to explore ideas about humanitarian aid, child rights and social justice. 

 

STUDY GUIDE OVERVIEW

The film’s companion study guide is designed to facilitate conversations and inspire critical thought about social justice issues relevant to everyone, every day. 

The guide was developed by educators, child rights advocates and the filmmakers. Student focus groups also contributed valuable feedback in shaping the materials.

*The cost of each kit includes a standard licensing fee as well as content development, production, fulfilment, distribution and administration. Once we have recouped our initial expenses, a portion of profits will go to organizations who are addressing root causes of family separation.
